- DAP Private Disk is a password-protected computer disk for storing sensitive files.

- When using for the first time you should select its size and location, and a password to protect it.
- Afterward you only need to type in the password to start using it.

- If initialization was successful, the new disk, called PRIVATE, will appear in your Explorer / My Computer window.
- You can work with it as with your usual disk (c:) - create / copy / rename /delete files and folders.

- To stop working with your Private Disk and to close it till the next time, lock it with the right click menu.

- To start working with the DAP Private Disk for the first time:

- 1. Open Explorer
- 2. Go to Private Disk item under My Computer
- 3. Double click
- 4. Type in your settings, password and password hint
- 5. Click OK
- 6. Re-enter your password
- 7. Disk is mounted with the chosen letter
- 8. Work with disk (copy / create files and folders)
- 9. Right click on disk to change its letter \size \ location
- 10. Right click on disk to backup files
- 11. Right click on disk to dismount (close) it.

- The next time you want to work with the disk, double click on the Private Disk item under My Computer.
